These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of beaconsono.com (the "Site") and the digital guides sold by Beacon Sono LLC ("Beacon Sono," "we," "us"). By using the Site or purchasing a guide, you agree to these terms.
Beacon Sono's guides are educational study resources for sonography students and sonographers. They are intended to support learning and exam preparation and are not medical advice, patient-specific clinical guidance, or a substitute for your training program's curriculum, your clinical instructor's guidance, institutional protocols, or professional medical judgment. Beacon Sono makes no guarantee of exam, certification, employment, or clinical outcomes, and our guides should never be used as the sole basis for patient care decisions.
All written content, illustrations, layouts, and design elements on this Site and within Beacon Sono guides are the property of Beacon Sono LLC unless otherwise credited. Purchasing a guide gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own study — it does not grant you the right to resell, redistribute, host, or share the files, in whole or in part.
Guides are sold as digital downloads through Stan Store at stan.store/BeaconSono, a third-party e-commerce platform, not directly on this Site. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address at checkout so you can receive your purchase. Payment is collected and processed by Stan Store and its payment processor(s); please refer to Stan Store's own terms for details on how checkout itself is handled.
All purchases are also subject to our Refund Policy. Because our guides are digital products delivered as instant downloads, purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
The Site and our guides are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. While we take care to keep our content accurate and current, we do not warrant that the Site or guides are error-free, complete, or uninterrupted, and, as noted above, we make no guarantee of specific exam, certification, employment, or clinical outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beacon Sono will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our guides, including lost income, missed exam or certification results, or employment outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchased guide is limited to the amount you paid for that guide.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
